  • 1/2 pound bacon, diced
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can (16 ounces) pork and beans, undrained
  • 1 can (16 ounces) red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (16 ounces) lima beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Like with many other types of food, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium-high heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
